Prayer Plants

WATER - Try to use room temperature water and to keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Watering once a week should suffice. Reduce to twice a month in the winter. Prayer plants like humidity so place the pot on top of a plate with water and pebbles, or mist regularly.

LIGHT - Bright, indirect light is best but it can also tolerate lower light levels.

SOIL - Well draining soil that holds moisture well (2 parts peat, 1 part loam, and 1 part sand). Top soil with mulch to help hold moisture.

CARE - Fertilize twice a month in the growing months (Spring-Fall). Pot in wider, more shallow pots because they have shallow roots.
